The project
Sanjeev and John came to Nester with a challenge: make the complexity of enterprise support understandable through motion. What began as a request for four animations became a broader brand partnership, connecting strategy, identity and an immersive visual world.
01 / The brief
An animation brief became a brand partnership.
The ambition was to show the depth of Kahuna’s technology while keeping the experience cinematic. That required more than a set of individual animations: it needed a visual language that could hold together across the brand.
02 / Strategy
Reframing the problem.
A three-day workshop established who the brand was speaking to and what tonal and visual vocabulary would resonate. The team aligned on the audience and the desired impact before developing the visual direction.
03 / The visual world
Building a Kahuna-verse.
Enterprise support is a world in motion: troubleshooting maps, historical context, dense diagnosis, engineers working through problems and tickets moving forward.
The visual world gives those processes a place and a form. An immersive experience helps the audience recognise their own work and understand what Kahuna’s technology makes possible.
04 / Exploration
How do you show intelligence?
This was about more than a product’s loading state. The work needed to communicate the experience of making sense of dense information. Concepts explored journeys, thought processes and the relationship between people and thinking machines.
05 / Motion
Making the process visible.
Storyboarding the actual use cases demanded a detailed understanding of support operations. Every object, character and metaphor was grounded in what the technology does behind the scenes.
The resulting scenes translate complex processes into a connected visual story, giving the audience a way to follow the work as it happens.
